Staff photos coming Soon, (Under Construction)

Bruce Knowles: Instructor/Owner

Bruce is a caring person, that has been involved in the performing arts most of his life. A Graduate from Algonquin, he received his Diploma as a Developmental Service Worker. He presently enjoys his work, as an Educational Assistant, working with special needs youth in an elementary school. There, Bruce developed a Performance Group, involving youth from grades 3 to7, developing their Drama, Singing and Dance Skills. He is presently writing/directing a combined performance of Wizard of Oz and Annie, with a fun creative ending. He has many years working with stage equipment (sound and lighting). He performed for 2 years, on stage, at YukYuks and the Absolute Comedy Club as a stand-up comedian. He is an experienced musician who plays drums, guitar and bass player. Bruce started on stage with The Great Canadian Theatre Company. He can always be heard saying, with a big smile, “Hey Bud! How’s it going?”

Sheryne Lalonde: Instructor/Owner

Sheryne’s love of children and the theatre has stood the test of time. She “grew up” with the Kanata Threatre for 40 years. Her mother, Gwen Knight, is a founding member and her family has been involved since the beginning in 1968. Sheryne received her Early Childhood Education Diploma in 1983, and she has been a pre-school teacher with the City of Ottawa for 25 years. “I am very excited to combine my life long passions into a new business…where else can I act like a 3 year old and get away with it?”
